This expansive mountain has the longest vertical rise in the Southern Lakes with far reaching boundaries spread over two large basins. Mother Nature has taken care of the terrain sculpting fun gullies, wide faces and exciting undulating runs. The ski area covers two basins – the Saddle and Home basin. Both provide some of the best free riding in New Zealand and are famous for putting you on top of the Southern Alps with the outlook to match. For beginner skiers and snowboarders, Treble Cone offers a free dedicated lift and protected slope located next to the convenience of the Base Lodge facilities.
