Located in the old science block of the Wakitipu High School in bustling central Queenstown, the Arts Centre is a haven for beautiful artwork. The contemporary Cloakroom Gallery exhibits a diverse blend of local visual arts including; painting, mixed media, sculpture, pottery, photography and jewellery. All the artwork is for sale offering you the opportunity to take home an authentic, and often affordable, piece to remind you of your visit to this stunning region.
The Arts Centre also houses a number of studio spaces for local artists. Visitors to the Art Centre can enjoy the opportunity to see the artists in situ and talk to them about their inspiration and current creations. Works by the studio artists are on display in the Studio Corridor
