Canyoning Queenstown offers exhilarating canyoning experiences in two unique and gorgeous canyons. Our guided canyoning tours will take you on a fun-filled adventure, through stunning New Zealand landscapes where you can truly get amongst the wilderness, in areas which would otherwise be inaccessible.
Explore our canyons and crystal clear pools using a variety of techniques and apparatus – natural water slides, zip lines, pool jumps, abseils (rappelling), swimming and scrambling.
Canyoning Queenstown is the most experienced canyoning operator in the Queenstown region. We have been guiding customers through our canyons since 1998.
No previous experience is necessary and you can choose your level of difficulty. We offer half day or full day trips and are the only canyoning operator to have two guides on every trip. Our designer operations base has heated change rooms, showers, toilet facilities as well as a place to enjoy a hot or cold drink after the trip. All you need to bring is your swimsuit, towel & a thirst for adventure!
A great choice if you are short on time – the Queenstown Adventurer has a little bit of everything packed into a half day trip. Great for all abilities. Find out more: Queenstown Adventurer
For the more adventurous, The Routeburn Explorer is a full day trip which includes lunch as well as a super scenic drive along the shores of Lake Wakatipu on the road to Glenorchy. Unleash your adventurous side in this breathtaking canyon in a UNSECO World Heritage Site, enjoying a full day sensory overload! Find out more: Routeburn Explorer
A Little Bit About Canyoning Queenstown
Exclusivity – we are the only canyoning operator in our canyons. We’ll take you to places that are normally inaccessible.
Best Canyons & Activities – our canyons feature more waterfalls, natural water slides and deep, crystal clear pools than any other canyoning operator in Queenstown.
Experience & Safety – in addition to being the most experienced canyoning operator in the Queenstown region, we are also the only canyoning operator that provides a minimum of two guides on every trip and a personal floatation device.
Choose Your Challenge – our guides will provide alternatives if you need them and ensure that you are comfortable during the entire trip.
Ecology – we are big supporters of the Routeburn Dart Wildlife Trust and a percentage of trip cost is donated back to the RDWT to support pest control work and scientific research to help our endangered native birds.
